2021 has been a banner year for ThreatX. Our recent funding raise, paired with our inclusion as a Visionary in the September 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Web Application and API Protection, shows how we continue to serve the ever-expanding need for innovative solutions in this market. In light of these achievements, I would like to welcome David Howell to ThreatX as our Chief Marketing Officer. David brings over 20 years of experience to this role, and he will be instrumental in driving demand for the company’s WAAP platform and creating a digital-first marketing engine to support the company’s next phase of growth.

David will build upon the strong foundation that was set in 2021 as we continue our upward trajectory. His demonstrated ability to clearly articulate customer value will support ThreatX as we double down on driving legacy web application firewalls (WAFs) toward extinction and capitalizing on the rapidly growing API Protection market.

David joins us from ZeroNorth, an early-stage cybersecurity company, where he drove differentiated positioning in the DevSecOps market, built a multi-channel marketing engine, and partnered with the leadership team to align the company’s go-to-market efforts. Prior to ZeroNorth, he held senior-level marketing roles at Forcepoint, the Raytheon Company, and RSA.

I know the positive impact David will have on ThreatX, and the industry as a whole. Please join me in welcoming him to our team!
